Registration FAQ

We’ve collected an assortment of common registration questions.
If you have a question that isn’t answered here, please contact us.

What forms of payment do you accept?
For online pre-registration, we accept the major credit/debit cards, MasterCard, VISA, and PayPal. We do not accept mailed in payments.

For onsite registration, we accept cash (CAD currency only), personal check, and travelers check along with the major credit/debit cards, MasterCard, and Visa.

I would like to register by mail. Is this possible?
If there is no way that you can register online, please contact us and we will see what can be done to accommodate you.

I'm only going to be able to attend for one day. Do I need to pay for a full membership?
Nope. If you will only be attending for one day, there is no need to pre-register. Just come to Registration at the convention and we will be happy to provide you with a Single Day Pass. Single Day Passes are available only at the door.

I am under the age of 18 and would like to attend the convention without my parent or guardian or my child is under 18 and would like to attend. What should I do?
If you are a minor (under the age of 18), or accompanying a minor, please read our Minors & Young Children Policy, and download and complete a Parental Consent Form.

I am pre-registered. Why haven't I received confirmation of my registration?

Confirmation emails are sent to all attendees upon registration, but sometimes they get lost or routed into your spam folder. If you have registered and have not yet received confirmation, you may send us an email inquiring about the status of your registration.

I missed the online registration deadline. Does this mean I can't attend the convention?

Oh, absolutely not! A large portion of our passes are sold at the door, but are limited to day and weekend passes (there are NO sponsor level passes available at the door). All you have to do is come to Registration, pay your registration fees, and off you go to have fun! Although you won't get the nifty $5 - 10 online registration discount, we're still happy to welcome you to Wild Prairie Fur Con.

I registered for Wild Prairie Fur Con online but now I find I am unable to attend. Is it possible to get a refund?
Purchased registrations are NOT refundable. However, transfers to another person of your choosing before the close of pre-registration are allowed. Transfers can only be requested by the person who purchased the badge. After the close of online registration, you can request a rollover credit for the next year.

Transfer requests will be allowed till August 1st.

I would like to change the name on my badge, can I do that?
We will be happy to change the name on your badge until the end of online registration. Please email your request to registration via the contact page. After that time, you will have to pick up your existing badge before the name can be changed. Name change cutoff is 2 months before the convention.

OK, so I'm registered. Now what?
Now you sit back and pat yourself on the back. Not only did you save money by registering online, but you saved yourself precious time at the convention. Your confirmation email will arrive soon. Remember, whether you registered online or are registering at the door, you must present a government issued photo ID to pick up your badge.

I have purchased a membership and would like to upgrade. Is this possible?
You can upgrade your pass at any time until online registration is closed by following the link in the confirmation email you received when you registered. If you would like to upgrade at the convention, you do not have to pick up your original badge at Pre-Registration. Once at the door registration is open, just hop into the sponsor line and proceed up. You don't have to stop at a terminal either, just let the friendly Registration staff member know that you want to upgrade and we'll be happy to help you. Please have your ID and payment ready.

I hate waiting in lines. When is the best time to come to registration?
All Sponsor passes get into their own line at Registration to help decrease their wait time, as well as Sponsor first seating to major events as well as early entry to our Dealers Den.

Many people think that the best time to go to Registration is immediately when it opens for the day. However, if you wait a little while, the lines will be shorter, especially for those who have pre-registered. Generally the Registration lines start to die down about an hour after we open. Poke your head over to register later in the evening and enjoy the shorter lines.

I am known by six different names on various mucks/channels/chats. Can I get six badges?
Sorry, no. For security reasons, we can only issue one badge per person. Many of the artists in attendance will be happy to create as many badges for you as you like we urge you to visit them in the Dealers Den.
